Thailand Pass Will No Longer Be Required For International Tourists Entering Thailand From 1st July 2022

Today, it is announced that Thailand Pass will no longer be required for international tourists entering Thailand starting 1st July 2021, as resolved by the COVID-19 Situation Administration.

Previously, the Tourism Minister of Thailand, Minister Phiphat Ratchakitprakan has scrapped the Thailand Pass for Thai nationals starting 1st June 2022. However, foreigners are still required to apply prior to their trip to Thailand.

As resolved by the Centre of COVID-19 Situation Administration today, Thailand  Pass will no longer be required for international tourists entering Thailand starting 1st July 2022. Other requirements such as COVID-19 Vaccination Certificates or COVID-19 test results and travel insurance that covers medical expenses related to COVID-19 will still be needed.

In addition, wearing mask in public places will also no longer be mandatory except in crowded places. Take note that the new order will only come into effect once published in the Royal Gazette.
