People Are Going Nuts Over This Cafe In Bangkok

Welcüm!

We came across so many unfortunate business names in Thailand that you would think the owners were being intentional. Perhaps we can blame it on the language barrier, however, we cannot deny the comedic values of these names. Examples include the popular craft beer shop ‘Chitbeer’, and the Thai whiskey brand called ‘Black Cock’. And now, there’s a new coffee spot in town with a name that just puts the cream on top: CUM Specialty Coffee.

Recently opened in 2024, CUM Coffee is a coffee stall located inside a beverages-cum-coworking space, alongside other beverage businesses. The co-working space, known as ‘The Office’ features an open-air working area and a comfortable dining space. Its relaxing Japandi wood-themed interior will definitely set the mood… for you to work.

The baristas there are well-trained in pulling strong, quality shots of caffeine that will leave you wanting more. Their extensive coffee menu is also commendable, as they serve espresso-based and filtered coffee. Whether it’s Long Black or Flat White, they got it all!

They have also created their own special drinks, made with their signature CUM cream. While you’re there, try a taste of their Biscuit Cream Latte, Warm Spice Latte, or Alcoholic Coffee if you wish to avoid the white stuff (milk).

For filtered coffee lovers, there is a selection of premium coffee beans originating from countries such as Brazil, Ethiopia, Columbia, and Honduras. So you can have your pick of coffee to get back to the grind!

As for those who are not so into coffee, don’t worry, they got you covered too! Choose either Double Chocolate, Fluffy Matcha, Vanilla Matcha or the classic Thai Tea for some indulgent creamy goodness.

Oh get your heads out of the gutter. The “CUM” is particularly stylized as “Cüm”, which is also pronounced as “coohm” or “ขำ” in Thai. Therefore, the word actually means ‘funny’ in Thailand.
