Cocotte Farm Roast & Winery: A Place Specialising In Organic Farm Products

Awarded with various trophies such as Thailand Tatler Best Restaurant from 2017 to 2020 and 2018 The Plate Michelin Guide, Cocotte has valid reasons for its high scores. Encountering organic farm products that are carefully selected, this welcoming French restaurant offers a rural chic atmosphere in the heart of Bangkok.

Helmed by French chef Jeriko Van Der Wolf, Cocotte churns out beautiful plates of European delights that touch the hearts of many. Gaining its followers with organic farm products and free-range meats, this is more than just your ordinary steak place. Moreover, they’re now adding more flavours with their new menu! Scroll down as we uncover their new exciting dishes!

Starting Off With The Classics

With at least fifty items in their menu, it’s hard not to get all the signatures in one seating. A menu that consists of a wide range of meats, it’s especially easy to notice the Tajima A4. One of the best Wagyu in the world, it’s the melt-in-your-mouth experience that draws the foodie here. Smooth caramel texture that gives a silky buttery finish, it’s no wonder why people come here solely for this.

Alongside this popular choice, the Salmon “Provencal” is another main centerpiece. A salmon dish made for the summer, it’s presented with potato fondue, leek, confit tomatoes and chef’s special sauce.

Truffle Experience That You Can’t Find Elsewhere

Truffles! A distinct pungent smell that might scare some, Cocotte takes on a way that doesn’t overdo the game. The Truffle Chicken Wings and Truffle Burrata are dishes that satisfy the palate. Organic chicken wing served with homemade truffle mustard, the sauce is a flawless pair to the crispy wings. The latter is a 150g Truffle Burrata served with artichokes, rockets and of course, fresh truffles.

Talking about classic French cuisine, Foie Gras is a must-try. Served as a starter with raspberry, it’s Foie Gras Raspberry with traditional homemade Foie Gras Terrine, house-baked Brioche and raspberry chutney. A little tang from the berries softens the intense burst of umami. Simply spread both on the toasted Brioche for an incredible taste you wouldn’t find elsewhere!

If a crunch is what you’re looking for, then make sure to keep an eye on Cocotte’s Croquetas x Serrano Ham. Made with 24 months-old Iberico ham croquetas with tomato aioli, the exterior is lightly breaded to obtain that extra crispiness. Worth a try!

A signature side to spoil you with, it’s the Onion Soup & Comte. A bowl of outstanding French onion soup with Comté cheese mousse, onion compote and cheesy toast, it is indeed a creamy soup to warm up the tummy. On the bigger portion, the most common way is undoubtedly for sharing. If more cheesy is what you need, surely you can opt for their Cheesy Mash Aligot

End The Meal On A Sweet Note

A meal is not complete without desserts. The Crepe Suzette and Blueberry Tart is a refreshing dessert that isn’t too sweet. Fresh crepes with orange custard and Tahitian vanilla cream with blueberry, which are both fruity and rich.

Apart from desserts, wines and beverages are proud sections of Cocotte too. Boosting a wide range of affordable wines carefully selected that take up 10 pages of the menu, indulge in red wine, rose wine, sparkling and more! Otherwise, sip up signature cocktails like Ocean Drive or dive into fresh juices like Mandarin Blossom.
