You can’t deny, Bangkok is full of amazing, huge parks. We have Lumpini Park, Suan Rodfai Park, Suanluang Rama IX, and Benjakitti Park just to name a few. It is so pleasant to know that we have all of these greeneries to escape to. Especially when we want to get out of the concrete jungle and towering skyscrapers. Thankfully, we will have an even bigger park in the near future.
Benjakitti Forest Park Expansion Project
At the moment, the most popular green area in the center of Bangkok, the Benjakitti Forest, is going under construction, The expansion project will make this park has a total area of about 450 Rai or 72 hectares. And to think that the Benjakitti park is already one of the biggest parks in Bangkok! Located in Khlong Toei district, this park will be rebuilt with 1.5 km elevated walk and bicycle trail connected to Lumphini park.
Construction Ends In 2022
There are a bunch of facilities that you can find in the park and it is suitable for all ages. In the park, you will find skywalk, canal, pond, indoor and outdoor areas. Great for sports and other recreational activities. Apparently, all of the construction will end in 2022. So keep your fingers crossed and hopefully we can play in this dreamy park soon!
