So, here goes: Thailand is implementing a nationwide nighttime curfew starting from 3 April 2020 onwards.
Thailand Announces Nationwide Curfew From 10PM to 4AM Starting 3 April 2020
In the latest measure to stop the spread of the coronavirus in Thailand, the government issued an announced stating that there will be a nationwide curfew starting today, the 3rd of April 2020. It will be a nighttime curfew, so, no one is permitted to go out from 10pm until 4am. Although citizens are to remain home, there are few who are exempted from this ban. Read below to find out more.
Exemptions from the ban include, transport of goods, fuel, medicines and medical supplies, and the movement of patients and medical personnel. The Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha also mentioned in a written order, “violators could face up to 2 years in prison and a fine of up 40,000 baht.” So, there’s no need for any rule-breaking.
